SUMMARY:AC3 Advanced Car Control Clinic - Lime Rock
DESCRIPTION:AC3 (Advanced Car Control Clinic) utilizes the Skid Pad and Auto Cross course on the upper level at Lime Rock. ADSS (Advanced Driving Skills School) is designed to introduce and develop car control skills\, but AC3 will help take your car control to the next level! \nInformation for Students \n There are a very limited number of student slots available for this event to ensure maximum seat time. \nThis is a half day event with morning and afternoon sessions available. Plan to arrive by 45 minutes before your start time. End of day will be noon for the morning session and 5 PM for the afternoon session. \nOverview \nTheory –  Each session begins with a “chalk talk”\, wherein our instructors explain vehicle dynamics\, the techniques students will be taught\, and summarize the exercises for the day. \nSkid Pad – The practical exercises include spending part of the session on the skid pad learning and practicing: understeer\, oversteer\, throttle steering\, and power-slides. These basic building blocks are key to learning how to bring your car under control when the unexpected happens and how to establish a balanced cornering attitude. \nCar Control Course – The practical exercises also include spending part of the session on the closed-loop handling course.  Here\, you will put your skidpad practice to the test and build new skills: trail-braking\, inducing rotation\, countering understeer\, and applying oversteer. \nClick HERE for more details and Registration

DESCRIPTION:About this event\n\nBMW CCA and FCP Euro present “Bimmers in the Park” – a spectacular showing of BMW cars from all eras\, lined up around the course on display. Show your car or just come out and take an up-close look at BMWs from all over the Northeast.  Enjoy what will surely be the the largest BMW gathering in the North Atlantic region for 2021\, amid the gorgeous backdrop of Lime Rock Park. We are very excited to welcome SIGFest this year and their impressive display of E30 M3s. We also plan to have model / chassis code specific parking areas on the track. This event promises to be one to remember! Food and beverages will be available for purchase and we expect to have several BMW specific vendors on site. \nWe are pleased to welcome non-BMWs to the event as well at the FCP Euro Cars & Coffee!
