All cars will have a complete undercarriage inspection by BMW Technicians; they will make recommendations based on what they observe. DESCRIPTION:Boston BMW CCA – WrenchFest at Gearhead DIY Automotive Supercenter in Warwick RI April 6\, 2025 \nThe Boston Chapter BMW CCA has rented a DIY Garage\, Gearheads Super Center on 250 Oakland Beach Ave & West Shore Rd. Warwick\, RI 02889\, for a club DIY Event.  The Garage is about 20 minute drive from the Crown Plaza Hotel located near the Warwick Mall by Rt. 95.  and easy to get to. There are Five Service Bays with automotive tools in each Bay. \nThe intent for this Tech Session is to do an Oil Change (Oil & Filter provided by the participating Chapter Member) on Chapter members’ own BMW’s.  Some mechanically inclined Chapter members will be on hand to assist the member with the Oil change if needed and make any observations about any deficiencies found. \nLift Time Slots start at 10 AM\, 11AM\, 12PM and 1 PM\, 5 Lift Time Slots are available each hour.  The charge will be for 45 minutes in the Bay on the Lift for a $35.00 fee which includes a Hazmat charge and the associated MSR Fees. \nAll participants should be wearing gloves & safety glasses while working on their car. No sneakers\, open-toed shoes\, flip-flops\, bare feet\, etc. will be allowed within the facility at any time. This Event is limited to 35 cars that have to be Pre Registered by Saturday\, August 14th \nClick here to register. \nRegistration will close Saturday\, August 14th.  We will be on the Veterans Memorial Lawn in Narragansett\, RI\, next to The Towers restaurant and across the street from the Town Post Office. \n Please use the lawn entrance on Mathewson St \nDirections to the Event: \nDirections: From Providence \, continue South on Rt. 95 to Route 4 South (exit on left). Continue along Rt 4 until it merges with Rt. 1 South. Exit Rt. 1 at the Narragansett exit.  At the light take a left to follow Kingstown Road .  At the rotary\, take the second exit to stay on Kingstown Rd. At the first light\, take a right to stay on Kingstown Rd. Follow Kingstown Rd until it ends and becomes Exchange St \, the road ends at the Memorial Lawn.  Take a right onto Mathewson St. and enter the lawn from that entrance.  Do not enter the lawn from Exchange St\, please only use the Mathewson St. entrance. \nFor 1 day only (the 15th   of  August) we are selling Discounted BMW CCA Memberships at this Event.
