SUMMARY:HPDE - Club Motorsport Sponsored by Turner Motorsport
DESCRIPTION:Turner Motorsport – Summer Heat & Squiggly Lines\nThe Boston and White Mountain chapters of the BMW CCA present the Turner Motorsport Summer Heat Driving Event at Club Motorsports in Tamworth NH\, Monday July 8th\, 2019.\nDATA Acquisition – This is a special event to develop Data Acquisition and what do do with it once you have it. Data is an excellent tool which professional drivers and teams use to measure development of the driver\, the car\, suspension\, tires\, aero and much more. The seat of the pants feel just doesn’t cut it when your dollars are involved.\nQualifications – This special event is designed for Intermediate and Advanced drivers with a minimum of eight days on track experience. This event will have a limited number of available slots so that we can maximize both session and overall track time. The event is still structured so that you will have goals and develop skills through on track exercises as well as in the classroom. Boston and White Mountain Chapter Schools have an intense focus on Safety AND Learning and we have a lot of fun while we’re doing it.\nCLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS AND REGISTRATION

SUMMARY:Evolution Performance Driving School
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the Boston Chapter of the BMW CCA\, Evolution Performance Driving School will be offering their autocross training program at Moore Army Airfield in Ayer\, MA on Saturday\, July 13th and Sunday\, July 14th. This program is great for any skill level\, from seasoned veterans to the complete novice.\nWhether you are new to autocross and want to learn the basics or a seasoned driver searching for a tighter line and faster time\, Evo School has a program for you.\n***Please note there is a separate $275 fee for each phase of the program***. \nEVOLUTION PHASE 1 DRIVING SCHOOL\nThis is the first step in autocross education and is required for the Phase two and Challenge Schools. The day-long course builds students skills level by introducing new ideas to improve one’s times. Students both ride and drive (using their own cars) with Evolution’s trained\, professional drivers (most of which are current or past National Solo Champions) to learn where they are fast and where they need to improve. A small student/teacher ratio insures quality instruction time.\nCombined with race proven skills\, concepts\, and techniques\, this course will improve the performance of all drivers on both the road and the track. Even experienced drivers benefit from the Phase 1 course as a refresher for those things they’ve forgotten over the years or perhaps never learned. No matter what type of car you drive\, the skills taught in Phase 1  will improve your overall driving abilities.\nNote: Two driver cars are welcome. Students will also be required to work course during part of the day.\nPhase 1\, hosted by Boston BMW CCA is offered on Saturday\, July 13th.\nRegister for PHASE 1 here. \nEVOLUTION PHASE 2 DRIVING SCHOOL\nBuilding upon the skills learned in Phase 1\, the Phase 2 Evolution Drivers School takes the driver into new areas of mental race preparation\, allowing the Phase 1 skills to be applied as second nature. Various driving exercises are conducted throughout the day to improve the driver’s visual and mental imaging of the course\, resulting in quicker lap times.\nThis course has proven itself to reinforce the importance of Phase 1 skills and transferring those skills to every autocross course you may encounter. The Phase 2 course design is not the same as used in Phase 1 and generally has higher speed sections.\nNote: Phase 2 students must first have completed the Phase 1 Program. As in Phase 1\, students use their own cars and two driver cars are welcome. As usual\, students will also be required to work course during part of the day.\nPhase 2\, hosted by Boston BMW CCA\, is offered on Sunday\, July 14th.\nRegister for Phase 2 here.\n  \nEVOLUTION CHALLENGE SCHOOL\nHave you taken Phase 1 and Phase 2? Have you got some autocrossing seat time under your belt and reached a place where shaving time on course seems to be impossible? Are you trying to keep up on your looking ahead and thinking ahead? The Challenge school is for you!\nThe Challenge school forces students to combine everything they have previously learned\, but on a longer\, quicker\, national style\, real world autocross course\, complete with quick slaloms and hard “shut downs”. Our goal is to drive home the Phase 1 and Phase 2 concepts and make sure you still are using them while increasing the length of time on course. In addition\, you will receive instant feedback and one on one training\, this time from a slightly different perspective. This school has different meaning for every person that takes it. Come with an open mind and the willingness to try things you normally would have left at home.\nWe want everyone to drive at 10/10ths and we will encourage it!!!\nChallenge School\, hosted by Boston BMW CCA\, is offered on Sunday\, July 14th.\nRegister for Challenge School here.

SUMMARY:Turbo BMW –  Direct Injection Maintenance for F-Series Models
DESCRIPTION:This Tech Session will focus on F-chassis BMWs from 2008 thru 2015 with Direct Injection (DI) turbocharged engines and specifically how you can care for this complex technology.  The Turbo era was driven by the need to meet stricter emissions standards and fuel efficiency goals and so BMW engineered all-new 4-\, 6-\, and 8-cylinder turbocharged / direct injection engines.\nThis Tech Session will specifically cover:\n4 Cylinder Turbo (N20)\, 6 Cylinder Turbo (N54 and N55)\, V8 Turbo (N63)\nTopics will include how-to care for DI fuel systems and why top-tier fuel may not be enough anymore! Discussion will cover carbon (this is the ‘coke’ part) buildup – why it occurs and what the owner can do to help stave off the problem. An engine with a removed intake manifold will be on hand to allow participants to see carbon deposits first hand.\nAlvin Lui owner of Import AutoWerks invites current Boston Chapter BMW CCA members to join us for this session.\nThere will be a Raffle of a free fuel injection cleaning\, of a Direct Injection engine\, a value of $300. Another Raffle item will be a Bentley Publishers F-Series BMW Shop Manual courtesy of Charlie Burke & Bentley Publishers.\nDue to the space available in the shop this will be an intimate group of 25 participants.  Refreshments will be provided courtesy of Alvin Lui with the Seminar expected to last approximately 2 hours. If you think you might want a chair please bring one with you.\nTO REGISTER CLICK HERE
