You do not have to own a BMW to be a member of the BMW CCA.\nAll events are held at Moore Airfield in Ayer\, Massachusetts (entrance at 90 Fitchburg Rd.\, Ayer\, MA).\nClick HERE for details and registration. \nNew Procedures for COVID 19: If you are vaccinated\, you may attend without a face covering. Proof of vaccination must be provided and you will be given a wrist band. Non-vaccinated attendees must still wear face coverings. DESCRIPTION:The Boston and White Mountain chapters of the BMW CCA present our Summer Heat Driving Event at Club Motorsports in Tamworth NH\, Monday August 31st\, 2020 \nDue to COVID related limitiations\, this event will be limited to Instructors and Advanced Students only.  There will not be any in-car instruction or passengers allowed. \nWhat can you expect: \nA ton of track time – up to 4 hours\nExercises to develop situational awareness\nPlease note\, Club Motorsports has a 92db at 50′ sound limitation. \nPlease be advised that anyone coming to the track will need to observe CDC and State guidelines\, which to be clear\, means wearing a mask and maintaining social distance while not wearing a helmet. The Boston chapter team will be setting up registration and tech in accordance with these guidelines and we would very much appreciate that our track family respectfully keep each other safe\, both on the track and in the paddock. DESCRIPTION:It’s more than driving – it’s about living! \nThe primary emphasis of Tire Rack Street Survival is a “hands-on” driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them.\nThe students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars\, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. If you are a BMW CCA member\, you may add the Boston Chapter to your current membership. DESCRIPTION:The Boston Chapter is proud to once again to present the Summer Solstice\, High Performance Driving School at Palmer Motorsports Park’s Whiskey Hill Raceway.  \nThis event will now be limited to Instructors and Advanced/ISG students ONLY\, however\, we will be offering a low speed Novice orientation session described below. This school will be operated as TWO single day events and qualified drivers will see lead follow instruction\, on track exercises and solo development time. \nNovice Orientation: We will be hosting a small number of novice students with a low speed\, helmets off lead follow orientation of the race track. DESCRIPTION: \n\nThe Boston Chapter will be joining the Audi Club NE Chapter as their guests for a two day driving school in June at Watkins Glen. \nThis will be an Audi club event and utilizing their registration systems and forms which you can find at the link below. We have a great respect for the Audi team and their events very much follow the same charter for safety but also our goal for driver development at all levels. Our coordination with the Audi team will make for a great event at this storied race track only 5 hours\, give or take\, from Boston. We will have the same high-quality in-car and classroom instruction on the theory and practice of high-performance driving to students at all skill levels.  The overall goal of our school is to improve your driving skills in a safe and friendly environment.  We emphasize skill development on all areas of the track.
