DESCRIPTION:Autocross is a competitive mid-speed precision driving event where drivers pilot their cars through a coned obstacle course\, with often confusing paths\, in order to determine the amount of time it takes to successfully complete the course\, from start to finish.\nThe Autocross Series is open to Boston Chapter BMW CCA members. You do not have to own a BMW to be a member of the BMW CCA.\nAll events are held at Moore Airfield in Ayer\, Massachusetts (entrance at 90 Fitchburg Rd.\, Ayer\, MA).\nClick HERE for details and registration. \nNew Procedures for COVID 19: If you are vaccinated\, you may attend without a face covering. Proof of vaccination must be provided and you will be given a wrist band. Non-vaccinated attendees must still wear face coverings. The same applies to ride-alongs or dual drivers who are not from the same household – proof of vaccination must be provided and you will be given a wrist band. We will only request proof one-time and will keep this on file for future events. \n

SUMMARY:RI Show & Shine Car Show
DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join us for our annual Show & Shine in Narragansett\, RI!  This is a casual gathering for Boston Chapter Members starting at 10:00am and ending by 2:00pm.  Come and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful location on the Memorial Lawn.  This scenic location features beautiful views of the ocean\, with the beach and great local restaurants within walking distance.  The show is a non-judged event\, with one trophy being given for People’s Choice. \nThere is no fee for this event\, but participants have to register. This Event is limited to 35 cars that have to be Pre Registered by Saturday\, August 14th \nClick here to register. \nRegistration will close Saturday\, August 14th.  We will be on the Veterans Memorial Lawn in Narragansett\, RI\, next to The Towers restaurant and across the street from the Town Post Office. \n Please use the lawn entrance on Mathewson St \nDirections to the Event: \nDirections: From Providence \, continue South on Rt. 95 to Route 4 South (exit on left). Continue along Rt 4 until it merges with Rt. 1 South. Exit Rt. 1 at the Narragansett exit.  At the light take a left to follow Kingstown Road .  At the rotary\, take the second exit to stay on Kingstown Rd. At the first light\, take a right to stay on Kingstown Rd. Follow Kingstown Rd until it ends and becomes Exchange St \, the road ends at the Memorial Lawn.  Take a right onto Mathewson St. and enter the lawn from that entrance.  Do not enter the lawn from Exchange St\, please only use the Mathewson St. entrance. \nFor 1 day only (the 15th   of  August) we are selling Discounted BMW CCA Memberships at this Event. DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Advanced Driving Skills School (ADSS) is designed to help you improve your driving skills and to learn about vehicle dynamics. The school’s dual purpose is to prepare students for our High Performance Driving School and to teach skills useful in everyday driving situations. \nWe utilize a giant parking lot at NHMS with an ingenious sprinkler system for our skidpad.
