DESCRIPTION:AC3 (Advanced Car Control Clinic) utilizes the Skid Pad and Auto Cross course on the upper level at Lime Rock. ADSS (Advanced Driving Skills School) is designed to introduce and develop car control skills\, but AC3 will help take your car control to the next level! \nInformation for Students \n There are a very limited number of student slots available for this event to ensure maximum seat time. \nThis is a half day event with morning and afternoon sessions available. Plan to arrive by 45 minutes before your start time. End of day will be noon for the morning session and 5 PM for the afternoon session. \nOverview \nTheory –  Each session begins with a “chalk talk”\, wherein our instructors explain vehicle dynamics\, the techniques students will be taught\, and summarize the exercises for the day. \nSkid Pad – The practical exercises include spending part of the session on the skid pad learning and practicing: understeer\, oversteer\, throttle steering\, and power-slides. These basic building blocks are key to learning how to bring your car under control when the unexpected happens and how to establish a balanced cornering attitude. \nCar Control Course – The practical exercises also include spending part of the session on the closed-loop handling course.  Here\, you will put your skidpad practice to the test and build new skills: trail-braking\, inducing rotation\, countering understeer\, and applying oversteer. \nClick HERE for more details and Registration

They are located in the historic Armory Village of downtown Millbury\, Massachusetts. Local destinations include great food\, movie theaters\, and plenty of shopping around the corner\, minutes from the Shoppes at Blackstone Valley. \nThey will be taking us on a tasting adventure in search of great flavor and fun in their uniquely themed setting that pays homage to the industrial history of the Blackstone Valley. \nLocated at 108 Elm Street\, Millbury MA \nOur tasting will begin at 7:00 pm. The school has four different run groups\, based on the student’s experience and demonstrated abilities.  The Beginner\, Novice\, and Intermediate run groups all provide in-car instruction from an experienced driving instructor.  All drivers are placed in a run group based upon their track experience and Instructor recommendation. \n

DESCRIPTION:Following the successes of last year’s High Peaks Drive (HPD) through the Adirondack mountains hosted by the Patroon chapter\, and the Ultimate X Fall Foliage Driving Tour of the Finger Lakes hosted by the X Chapter\, combined efforts will bring an even better driving tour in 2023\, and they’ve extended the invitation to the Boston Chapter! \nJoin us for an unforgettable weekend filled with breathtaking views of the tallest mountains in New York State\, against the vibrant backdrop of autumn as can only be experienced in the vast and majestic Adirondack Park. \nBased on the previous year’s High Peaks Drive (HPD) route\, we’ve added over 200 miles to the route with lots of twisty mountain roads recommended by Patroon’s own local expert\, Peter Weyrauch. \nTaking inspiration from the October 2022 Ultimate X Fall Foliage Driving Tour\, we have a transformed the HPD from a simple BMW driving event into a 2 night / 3 day BMW extravaganza based out of Lake Placid.
