| We run in the rain, but if there's a lightning storm in the area we halt the cars and get everybody off the runways. If it appears that the lightning storm is large and not just passing by, the event gets called for safety reasons.
With two courses and ~70 people on each course for event 3, we should be done early anyway. *knocks on wood*  |

| So, now you got to see what happens when there's rain (we run), and then when there's lightning (we get everyone off the course), and when it clears (we run once again).
Luckily it was only a 20 minute lightning storm delay. The problem with 20 minute lightning storm delays are that we know it takes time for people to get back out on the course, and it cut our afternoon runs in half.
Even so, I loved that course, and had a blast. We'll make sure we have more equal length courses next event. They were quite a bit different in length, and we know that we have to work on that! |

| | Yea, it was a sweet event. I'm totally hooked on this stuff now. Already ordered a harnress and am trying to compete in any and all AutoX events. I'm headed to both July events (test/tune and the July 27th). Only problem is I'll need new tires by the end of the summer haha. |
