| Mike, I recently purchased a used 2007 m6 there is no info in manual or in computer about what type of oil to use or when the changes should take place after first 1200 Miles. I have 3750 miles currently when do you suggest miles changes. In addition, no sure how to treat my rim there seems to be so dulling of my rims after cleaning them with a brush.

Well I'm no Mike, but let me congratulate you on a GREAT car. I am insanely envious now. 
Your car will tell you when you need to add oil or get it changed. If in doubt, do it anyhow. As for oil type, it should be on the oil fill cap or under-hood sticker.

The BMW service indicator will tell you when to service the car. However, if it were my M6 I would be doing oil services at 6000-7000 mile intervals. Any sooner is a waste of money & oil, but 10,000 miles is really pushing it and will allow for deposits to form. Your car should be using Castrol TWS 10-60 engine oil from BMW.
Relative to your rims. I suspect that your cleaning brush &/or your wheel cleaning solution is introducing fine scratches into the clear coat of your wheels. Get a polishing wax to bring back their luster. Meguiars swirl remover followed by their yellow wax should do the trick. Relative to future cleaning, just wash the wheels w/ a rag & your regular car wash solution. Wash the car 1st & then the wheels last w/ the same bucket of soap & warm water. The finish will last a lot longer.
