I hit a pothole and now have a flat spot in one of my rims. Does anyone know of a rim repair shop in Rhode Island?

I do not, but RimPro in Tewksbury, MA will fix the rim if it can be fixed. You can UPS it to them or drop it off.

Rimpro does a great job of straightening & refinishing rims. They certainly get my vote!

I live in RI and I looked when I needed rims refinished. Nothing in RI as far as I could tell. I didn't go to RimPro, but you are probably better off going to RimPro than where I went. (I didn't have any big problems, but it wasn't fantastic and people are happy with RimPro.)
